Like most people, we have Decked the Halls this week.
I have added a little splash of colour to our tree this year with some copper baubles.
It ties the tree in nicely with the colours that are already in that room.
It is just a very subtle splash of colour that has made all the difference.
Even Himself is pleased with the result and he doesn’t usually notice until Christmas Eve.
I have packed away everything that was on the bookcase and replaced it with Christmas adornments such as a light box demanding that we `let it snow’.
There are also candles, Edison lightbulb lights, a squirrel running up a stick, chocolates and a polar bear combo – just the usual assortment of festive treasures ha!
The middle cushions have been replaced by these cute Robin ones from Marks & Spencer that coordinate beautifully with the copper accents on the tree.
I am delighted with them, they are embroidered and really pretty.
Each year I replace all the photographs with pictures of the girls that they have had taken with Father Christmas over the years.
I love getting them out.
Our office halls have also been decked this week.
This post next to my desk is usually white and in keeping with the minimal theme that runs throughout the office.
However, this week it has been transformed into a cosy chimney breast, complete with a picture of my ‘work family’.
It is amazing what you can do with a sample of wallpaper and a ton of multi purpose tack.
Are your halls decked yet?
Thank you for hosting Amy.
Have a lovely weekend x
